Please follow us on Twitter or Sound Cloud or Myspace or Facebook…..damn, how did this all get so complicated? You can follow me down the street too if you’d prefer?
This morning I’ve tried to set up a Pintail Records facebook page and it’s like pulling teeth! A page is up, I think, but I wouldn’t keep your hopes up that I’ll use it. It won’t even let me add music to the page…..what the cuss?
I’ve written many posts on this blog proclaiming that my album is finished but I hit a few hurdles along the way and as most of you know these things always take longer than planned but now has come the time when I can announce that the album has now been released and is available at most online shops now! You can buy it directly from the Pintail Records online store at www.pintailrecords.com or from itunes. Within the next few weeks the album will be available on Amazon, Spotify, Last FM etc etc.
Martin Donovan, Sonic Youth and Hal Hartley…what’s not to like?
That’s it, the album is officially finished. I know I posted a message reporting the same information seven weeks ago but I’ve had to remix and re-master the songs again but now the album is finished. I’m off to Clive’s tomorrow where he’s going to work his magic with the artwork. More news to follow. (this is my way of building up the hype, not my forte)
The Pintail Records website has been revamped in preparation for my album release. The album has been re-mastered (I had a few creases to iron out) and will be sent off to be printed at the start of January. The album has been renamed ‘Everything’s A River’. I just felt the new title suited the songs on the record more than the previous title. I will let everyone know when it’s up for sale. In the meantime please visit www.pintailrecords.com when you get a chance.
